Hey, legends.. phew! What a week. For the last two weeks, I have been travelling around the wonderful world of Victoria. Vic is a pretty cool place when you get to go and see it. Beaches, coastline, wildlife, trees and history… Super cool. What’s not cool is taking the hands off the business steering wheel. For some reason, I felt super guilty, and got a bit stressed and was annoyed that I needed to keep the business fire burning even when having a break.
I guess for a lot of businesses being able to step away completely is not an easy thing to do and it’s the PERFECT time to look at ways you can do that to ensure true work-life balance. Over the coming weeks will be looking at our processes and empowering our people even more to keep the Learn Awesome lights on, regardless of who is at the healm.
LEARN AWESOME UPDATES:
At the moment we have a really impactful project with worldwide not-for-profit cooking away. They have a large training program on a super sensitive topic that needed review and revamping. One of the revamps is to create an illustrated and interactive story to convey the sensitive message. We have been working with illustrators (amazing humans) and voice-over talent (cool job) to bring this together.
Steve, can your team solve ________ problem for us?
I love this question. We get it quite a bit. This week it was.. We want to be able to offer our clients their own branded learning platform that has our training programs loaded into it. Think of the power of this. You’re able to sell your programs into a business, but offer them their own Learning Platform, on their domain and branded to their business. The answer… YES it’s doable and we can do it! So if you want to discuss this let me know.
Digital Ed Trend…
It’s not going away.. If you’re a course creator who has a program that can help companies and employees of that company, there is a very specific way you can package your knowledge and make mass coins and mass impact selling it directly to companies. We put together a cool little program called 1:1000 which goes into more detail about this. But think about how cool it would be if you went on LinkedIn, found a HR director of a company who has staff that have a problem that your course/program can solve. You then show them how your course can solve that problem, they buy it but instead of buying one of them, they buy 1000 licences for their whole team. Cool huh? More info below

Out of work..
The beach is a special place for me. I was a lifeguard for 8 years or so in my 20’s and just love the ocean. You’ll see me using rip currents to get me out the back of the break quickly so I can bodysurf the house down. What is bodysurfing? Well, it’s like surfing but instead of using a board, you surf your body.. Here is a clip of me at Urbnsrf in Melbourne. Super cool place to play.
